Program Eligibility Requirements for Head Start/ECEAP

Does you or your child qualify for our exceptional, free program?

• Expectant mother or your child is ages Birth-3 (Early Head Start).
• Your child must be at least three (3) - five (5) years of age (Head Start/ECEAP).

and you can answer yes to one or both of the following:

• Your family must be determined "low income" as defined by Federal Poverty Guidelines for 2009.
• Your child may qualify if the family is over income and your child is identified as having a special need or disability.

Enrollment Procedure

Please download and print and application form (spanish form) and return it to our Main Office (by mail or hand delivered).  Please include photocopies of the following:

• A copy of your child's birth certificate or other acceptable form of legal identification that includes your child's date of birth.
• Proof of income for the past 12 months. This can be W2, Federal Income Tax form 1040, check stubs, award letters from DSHS/SSI or other documentation.
• Copies of your child's immunization records.  Federal/State law requires children must provide proof they are current on immunizations or have signed a waiver before they can attend preschool.
