About Us
Kittitas County Head Start/ECEAP is a non-profit organization that provides services to families and children ranging in age from brith to six years of age. Kittitas County Head Start/ECEAP employs approximately 50 staff and has approximately 75 volunteer positions.
Our organization strives to provide comprehensive services to families and children and based on our organization goals we provide many services that focus on expecting mothers, infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their family unit. Our programs with approximate current counts include:
- Head Start - Federally funded grant preschool (ages 3-5) with 105 children.
- Early Head Start - Federally funded grant program serving Prenatal to age 3 with 54 slots. Home- based program beginning April 5th, with Center-based program to follow in the near future.
- ECEAP - (Early Childhood Education & Assistance Program) State funded preschool with 18 children.
- Child Care - Serving ages 3-12. Licensed to serve up to 80 children. Accept both private pay and state subsidies. See more information on child care.

- ASQ - (Ages & Stages Questionnaire) Developmental screening program with 83 children.
